Hello World!

The first thing most people notice about me is my great smile...and then they realize I'm bald ;-) I have a "dis-ease" called Alopecia Areata that caused me to lose all of my hair when I was 11. Besides having no hair I'm perfectly healthy and know that after having worn wigs for 19 years and now becoming "The Bald Chick" my biggest challenge has definitely turned into my greatest blessing!

I always knew from a young age that I was supposed to travel the world, meet my brothers and sisters and spread the message of love. Sometimes when you have a big vision like that challenges present themselves so that you can expand who you know yourself to be. Who knew that part of my journey to this dream would include losing my hair, but it taught me lessons in compassion, understanding and love for humanity that I don't believe I would have realized without this experience.

In December 2001 I self-published my first book "I Love You More" through my company I Shine Inc. To date we have sold 180,000 copies-but the best is yet to come... We recently sold our book to the best publisher ever Sourcebooks and we are getting ready to relaunch it October 1st. I think our publisher loves our book and it's message as much as we do. Our mission is to generate the conversation of love around the world and now we have a team that is helping us to make this happen. I feel very blessed and am looking forward to all the touring and promoting that we are lining up in the next many months!
